Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation
The IP Center is active in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and the right of publicity, with a focus on IP issues of importance to the life sciences. The primary mission of the IP Center is promoting student IP education and scholarship, not only increasing the number of law school graduates with a concentration in intellectual property law, but also providing exposure to IP law to the broader student community as well. The IP Center's broader goals and objectives include advancing the law of intellectual property, advocating and stimulating reform through scholarship and programs, and providing meaningful, non-redundant assistance and support to the numerous constituencies in various areas of intellectual property law.

Center for International and Comparative Law
The Center for International and Comparative Law is the point of contact for students with interests in international law. The center provides administrative guidance for the school's foreign study programs, as well as other international activities. Student and faculty exchange programs with international institutions of legal education are coordinated through the center, as are international moot court teams, and the center conducts research on key issues in international and comparative law.

William S. and Christine S. Hall Center for Law and Health
The need for lawyers with special expertise in health law is acute, and the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law and its Hall Center for Law and Health are at the forfront of providing students with that career edge. The Hall center is repeatedly acknowledged as offering one of the top health law programs in the country, providing opportunities to participate in groundbreaknig health law research.

Global Crisis Leadership Forum
The Global Crisis Leadership Forum is a joint initiative of the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law and IU's School for Public and Environmental Affairs. This unique interdisciplinary partnership aims to develop a community of practice by bringing together experts and practitioners in the field of global crisis management. Joint Center for Asian Law Studies
The Joint Center for Asian Law Studies was founded in June, 2010 as a collaboration between Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and Renmin University of China School of Law in Beijing. The Center's Mission is to utilize scholarly inquiry and open dialogue to promote mutual understanding and goodwill between the countries of East Asia and the United States, specifically with regard to the content and development of laws and the role of law in society. more...
Program in Environmental and Natural Resources Law
The Program in Environmental and Natural Resources Law addresses complex issues of resource development and conservation, pollution control, energy and transportation policy, environmental justice and equity, and many other related subjects. Courses in this program are relevant to those whose future work concerns property law, real estate development or transactions, corporate acquisitions, land use, energy policy or regulation, urban planning, transportation, agriculture, public health, and/or occupational safety, as well as those interested more generally in public policy, public interest advocacy, or government at the state, local, national, or international level.

Program in International Human Rights Law
Students in the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law's Program in International Human Rights Law have helped people in nearly every corner of the world. They've worked to protect the rights of the Dalit caste in Nepal; researched the intellectual property rights of aboriginal artists in Austrailia; drafted a report on human rights violations in Zimbabwe; and participated in a project against Nazi war crimes in Lithuania. Students in this program are placed in overseas summer internships (10 to 12 weeks) according to interests, special skills and experience. Since its founding in 1997, the program has facilitated 110 internship placements in more than 50 countries.
