About the Directors

Professors Eleanor D. Kinney and David Orentlicher, are Co-Directors of the Center for Law and Health.

Eleanor D. Kinney, J.D., M.P.H., is the Hall Render Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for Law and Health at the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Public and Environmental Affairs in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Public Health at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She teaches in the areas of administrative law, health care, and public health.

David Orentlicher, M.D., J.D., is the Samuel R. Rosen Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for Law and Health at the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine and formerly served as the Acting Director of the Program in Medical Ethics at Indiana University School of Medicine. He teaches courses in bioethics, constitutional law, criminal procedure and professional responsibility.
