President
Emily Munson
Emily graduated from Hanover College in 2006, where she was named Political Science Student with Honors.  While in college, she served on the Student Senate and Panhellenic Council, and was Opinions Editor for The Triangle newspaper.  She also interned for a semester at the National Council on Disability in Washington, D.C.  Now in her fourth year of law school (and ready to graduate!), Emily is President of the Health Law Society, Essay Editor for the Hall Center for Law and Health eNewsletter, and Publications Director of the Federalist Society.  Emily is simultaneously completing an M.A. in Philosophy with an emphasis in Bioethics, as well as working pro bono for Indiana Legal Services’ Senior Law Project.

Vice President
Lisa Rochelle, RN
Lisa began her law school career in the part-time evening division in 2007.  She has been a Registered Nurse with a critical care background since 1997.  She earned a degree in political science from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia, and remains passionate about patient and provider advocacy.  Lisa is a member of AHLA, the IBA, and the Emergency Nurses Association.  She is currently in her third year of HLS membership, and is pleased to serve on its Executive Board for another year.  Lisa completed an eight month internship at the Office of the Attorney General in Medical Licensing, and currently works in the Emergency Department at Clarian West Hospital.

Sarah Orme
Sarah graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Willamette University with a degree in Rhetoric and Media Studies in 2008. Currently in her second year of law school, Sarah serves as the Secretary of the Health Law Society, a member of the Indiana Law Review, and an Essay Editor for the Hall Center for Law and Health eNewsletter. Sarah’s health law interests include bioethics, hospital administration, and reproductive health.

Treasurer
John Delaney
John graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan in 1987, receiving a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in accounting.  Since then, John has held numerous senior and executive accounting and finance positions with a public accounting firm, a publicly-traded company, and numerous health care organizations in Central Indiana. John’s health care experience includes auditing of biotechnology companies and executive and financial management of healthcare companies including physician and physical therapy practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and medical billing companies.  John is now a day student in his third year of law school and is a member of the Indiana Law Review.  Upon graduation from law school, John plans to practice as a corporate lawyer providing legal, financial, and general business advice to health care companies.

SBA Representative
Todd Hassee
Todd earned a B.A. in Business Administration in 2006 from the University of Southern Indiana, where he was nominated to Beta Gamma Sigma and awarded Outstanding International Business Student honors.  He worked in sales development in Southern and Central Indiana for several Fortune 500 companies from 2002-2007, and in 2008 as a contract specialist for Roche Diagnostics.  In 2009, Todd joined the Indiana Department of Revenue, where he is the Executive Assistant to the Commissioner.  Since beginning law school, Todd has written for the Hall Center for Law and Health eNewsletter.  He regularly volunteers with educational programs which focus on Indianapolis teens, including Aftercare for Indiana through Mentoring, Human Rights Works, and the Marion County Teen Court.  In addition to his membership in Health Law Society, Todd also serves as Treasurer for the Environmental Law Society at IU-Indy.

Events and Philanthropy Chair
Rhonda L. Wood, RN, BSN
Rhonda graduated from University of Indianapolis School of Nursing. She worked in the operating room at Indiana Orthopedic Hospital for three years before attending Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Rhonda is beginning the fall semester as a 3L, during which she will complete a selective externship in the Wishard Hospital Legal Department. She completed an internship last summer at Wilson Kehoe and Winingham, and eagerly accepted an offer from the firm to stay on as a law clerk during the school year.  Her duties there pertain to the representation of plaintiffs in suits regarding medical malpractice, wrongful death, and personal injury.
