From 21 May 2009 to 2 August 2009 Leticia Addai completed an international human rights law internship in Gaborone, Botswana with the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Botswana Network on Ethics, Law and HIV/AIDS-BONELA. Leticia worked in the Legal Department and Policy Section for the rights of persons with HIV-AIDS.
From 14 May 2009 to 15 August 2009 Emina Hadzic completed an international human rights law internship in The Hague, The Netherlands with The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). The ICTY is an organ of the United Nations. Emina worked in the Registry Legal Advisory Section in the area of war crimes.
From 22 May 2009 to 14 August 2009 Kristen Hunsberger completed an international human rights law internship in Geneva, Switzerland with the Centre for Civil and Political Rights (CCPR Centre). Kristen worked in the area of United Nations human rights reporting.
In the summer of 2009 Kallie McBride completed an international human rights law internship in La Plata, Argentina and New York, USA. In La Plata, Kallie worked for the NGO, "Instituto de Derechos Humanos" (Institute of Human Rights) at the National University of La Plata. In New York Kallie worked for the NGO, International Women's Rights Action Watch. Kallie worked in the area of women's human rights and human rights reporting.
In the summer of 2009 Zoe Meier completed an international human rights law internship in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Vientiane, Laos. Zoe worked for the NGO, Bridges Across Borders Southeast Asia (BABSEA) in the area of human rights education.
In the summer of 2009 Aaron Stark completed an international human rights law internship in Kumba, Cameroon and Eldoret, Kenya. Aaron worked for the NGO's, Volunteers for Prisoner Inmates Cameroon (VPI) and Legal AiIn the summer of 2009 Aaron Stark completed an international human rights law internship in Kumba, Cameroon and Eldoret, Kenya. In the summer of 2009 Kavinvadee Suppapongtevasakul completed an international human rights law internship in Minneapolis, Minnesota and New York City, New York with the NGO, International Women's Rights Action Watch (IWRAW). Kavinvadee worked in the area of women's human rights reporting.
In the summer of 2009 Matthew Trick completed an international human rights law internship in Accra, Ghana and Eldoret, Kenya. Matthew worked at the Legal Resources Centre (LRC) in Ghana and the Legal Aid Centre of Eldoret (LACE) in Kenya. Both the LRC and LACE are NGOs.
